I run in and grapple their bodies, low and behold, their third member is doing the same. I snipe a guy trying to throw grenades in, then snipe the stego rider. It turned into a stale mate, but then the tables turn. They keep trying to soak, and i keep sniping them out of the stego. We exchange sniper fire for 4 hours, killing each other, throwing rockets at each other. I finally logged in, and the first thing I did was snipe the guy out of the trike(that's 2k hours of battlefield for you). Little did they know we hid flame turrets that destroyed their golems quickly. They made short work of my base defense dinos. They sniped my buddy a bunch of times while soaking the wall, and we thought we were lost. They brought 2 gigas, a snow owl, the stego I cryopoded, some manas, a couple turtles, and 2 golems. One entrance was to small to soak with a big dino so they set up a turret tower.

They finally come in force, at first it was 3v1, I wasn't home yet.

So we put the finishing touches on our base and wait. They've been blowing unlocked fabs/smithys and meat running passive breeding lines. At this point this tribe has raided the top 3 tribes on the server successfully. He kills me with his Griffin, then kills my wyvern. Fast forward another week, I decide to scope out their base with a stego, and another cryo'd on me.

Fast forward a week, I see another tribe member and he starts taking pot shots at me. He lights me up on chat and I politely explain the eggs are public, you can't claim them. Well I'm out one day hunting wyvern eggs when this ass hole tries to attack me on my wyvern with his Griffin. I'm talking turrets out the wazoo with 1k rounds a piece. We took over an ice cave, and grinded for a solid week in defense materials. Little back story: we're a two man tribe on a slightly boosted server. I wanted to share with you guys my first raid defense and how it went from, "we're fucked" to "thanks for the giga".
